The Centsation Band was first established by the employees of the San Francisco United States Mint. In the late 90's, A group of musicians from the U.S Mint formed a band to perform & entertain other fellow employees during their parties and events. The name CENT-sation derived from the coining division of the S.F Mint.The band was so successful, that they started playing at private parties. Through the years of continuous playing, the centsation band has been honored with several different members. Today with the new blood & era injected into this high energy Top-40's, R&B, Old School, and Funk band, adds a "get-up-and-dance" attitude that will keep your rhythm groovin' on the dance floor. With their variety of songs, Centsation band is currently performing at weddings, private parties, and night clubs throughout the bay area.
